It’s time again for our bimonthly meeting. We’ll be meeting at Rudolphs Bar-B-Que again starting at 18:30 (6:30 p.m.).

Let’s say that you’ve been pulled over and Judge Dredd demands to see the contents of your phone, are you required to surrender your phone to him? What if you were arrested for participating in a protest? Can the arresting officer coerce you into unlocking your phone? This week we’re going to discuss various security aspects surrounding interactions with law enforcement officers. What can an officer legally compel you to do? What isn’t an office supposed to compel you to do? And, most importantly, what technical measures can you take to guard your personal data against a snoopy law enforcement officer? We plan to discuss all of these things.
