How can we help?

Organizers, activists, journalists, whistleblowers, and others, do you need help learning how to use encryption and private communication tools?

We want to teach you.

We call our events Cryptoparties. They’re informal, low-pressure, free gatherings where anyone who wants help stepping up their privacy can learn from people who use these tools every day.

Topics we have covered in the past include:

  • Secure communication with Signal Messenger
  • Email encryption with PGP
  • Encrypting hard drives
  • Private internet access with TOR browser
  • Private computer use with Tails OS

Of course due to COVID-19, we may not be able to hang out in person and share a pizza for a while, but we still value making sure both the events and the technology are approachable and accessible.

If you or your group are interested in attending or helping plan a Cryptoparty, or if you just gave a quick question, let us know! At the moment the best way to contact us is by replying or messaging our social accounts on Instagram and Twitter.

We look forward to partying with you!
